Tournaments
The Congress runs four 5-round seeded Swiss Tournaments:
- Open
- Major - for ratings under 1950
- Intermediate - for ratings under 1750
- Foundation - for ratings under 1500.
Rate of Play
The time limit for each game will be all moves in 90 minutes, plus 30 seconds per move from move 1. Digital clocks will be used.

Admission to the Playing Area on the Friday evening will open at 6:30pm.
Default and Re-pairing Time
30 minutes after the above scheduled start times.
Byes
Except for Round 5, players may request one (and only one) ½-point bye.

Results and pairings will be posted on noticeboards during the Congress and online using Swiss Manager.
